Pollutants in sewage are divided into dissolved organic matter and insoluble matter (SS). Under certain conditions, dissolved organic matter can be transformed into insoluble matter. One of the methods of sewage treatment is to add coagulants and flocculants to make most of the dissolved organic matter turn into insoluble matter, and then remove all or most of the insoluble matter (SS) In order to purify sewage, the main way to remove SS is to use dissolved air flotation.
The wastewater after the dosing reaction enters the mixing zone of DAF and contacts with the released dissolved air water to make the flocs adhere to the fine bubbles and then enter the air flotation zone. Under the action of air buoyancy, the floc floats to the water surface to form scum. After the clean water in the lower layer flows to the clean water tank through the water collector, part of it flows back for dissolved air, and the remaining clean water flows out through the overflow port. After the scum on the surface of the air flotation tank accumulates to a certain thickness, it is scraped into the sludge tank of the air flotation machine by the foam scraper and discharged
